Suesca climbing prices

Climbing in Suesca has two separate costs: the entrance to the cliff and, if you go with a guide, the guided plan. On your own, budget COP 10,000–15,000 per day for the El Turpial entrance. With a guide, plans published in October 2026 run from COP 60,000 in a group to COP 400,000 for a full day with MERA Expedition.

Short answer. On your own: COP 10,000–15,000 per day. With a guide and gear included: from COP 60,000 (short group plan) or from USD 44 (half day on platforms). Always confirm the fee at the entrance and with the operator before booking: prices change.

On your own vs. with a guide

On your own you pay only the entrance: El Turpial around COP 15,000 per person in recent listings, and fees on private land reported between COP 7,000 and 10,000 per day. You need your own gear, you need to know how to belay, and you need to know the routes. No published permit or mandatory insurance for independent climbers has been found.

With a guide you pay the plan, which normally includes an instructor, personal and safety gear, and assistance insurance. It is the recommended option if it is your first time, if you are going with children, or if you want multi-pitch without your own gear.
