Things to do in Suesca
Suesca is visited for the Rocks, but the full plan fills a whole day: climb in the morning, ride or walk in the afternoon and have lunch in town. This is what the municipality offers, as the original site used to tell it.
Rock climbing
The reason for the trip: hundreds of sport and traditional routes on sandstone, for every level, a few minutes' walk from the park entrance. Next to the access there are gear shops, schools and local guides for anyone climbing for the first time.
Mountain biking and cross country
The country roads around the town and the Rocks are classic terrain for mountain biking and cross-country races, with the savanna and the Bogotá River as the backdrop.

Walks
The path that runs along the band of rock beside the railway is a walk in itself: the Virgin on her ledge, the caves and the Muisca pictographs of the area, and the view of the savanna from the top of the Rocks.

Horse riding and rappelling
In the town and beside the park you can ride horses through the Cundinamarca countryside and rappel down the same walls where people climb — two classic ways to get to know Suesca without climbing.
The town
Suesca keeps its square, its doctrinera church and the old train station. It is worth going on to the town — one kilometre from the Rocks — to have lunch and wander it unhurriedly.
