I want to join the 5%

5% for Suesca is Suesca.com's commitment to the organizations of the town: 5% of collected advertising sales goes to nonprofit organizations in Suesca. There is no list fixed in advance and no selection by friendship: if your organization works in Suesca, it registers, and on payment day it enters the split.

How the split works

1. Register by email with the details below. 2. We verify that your organization exists and works in Suesca. 3. From every advertising payment that comes in, we set aside 5% at collection. 4. Each quarter, the accumulated amount is split in equal parts among all those registered on payment day. 5. Every year we publish on the site total sales, the amount donated and the organizations that benefited.

If nobody is registered on payment day, the amount rolls over to the next quarter. There is no guaranteed minimum: if there are no sales, 5% is zero. Today the amounts are small, and we say so from the start.

Who can register

Nonprofit or community-based organizations that work in Suesca, with an annual budget within the COP $100,000,000 cap. For-profit businesses cannot register, nor can organizations that do not work in Suesca. If your budget is over the cap, you are still welcome as an ally: free listing on the site and publicity, with no share of the check. And if your budget grows over the cap after registering, you leave the split from the next quarter and stay as an ally.

What you need to register

Organization name, legal form or type of community organization, tax ID (NIT) if you have one, contact person, email and phone or WhatsApp, two or three lines about your work in Suesca, annual budget for the last closed year in pesos, and confirmation that you are a nonprofit organization. We may ask for simple supporting evidence if a declared budget looks inconsistent with the organization's public activity.
